Halifax Ultimate Juniors
The sport of Ultimate has seen massive growth in Halifax since the mid 90's. While much of that growth has been among university students and young professionals, recently high school teams have begun sprouting up all over the region. Unique aspects of the sport attract a variety of players which promotes athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Ultimate emphasizes fair play through self-officiating and involves players of both sexes and all ages. It combines the field sense of soccer, the pivoting of basketball, and similar strategies of football.
Ultimate players in Halifax would really like to help you get involved in the sport. Under the umbrella of the local Ultimate league (HURL), the Halifax Ultimate Juniors (HUJ) program helps individuals, coaches, and high schools learn about and excel in this great sport. Please contact us if you are interested in getting you or your school more involved in Ultimate!

2008 Nova Scotia High School Championships Results (posted on June 04, 2008)
Auburn High School is the winner of the 4th Annual Nova Scotia High School
Ultimate Championships. Auburn, who were narrowly defeated in last
year's finals, edged out Citadel 1 in a very exciting final to take

The Halifax Ultimate Juniors program will be hosting the 4th Annual Nova Scotia High School Ultimate Championships at the all-weather fields in Burnside on Saturday, May 31 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm).
