Halifax Ultimate Juniors
Ultimate involves players of both sexes and all ages, and it combines the field sense of soccer, the pivoting of basketball, and the play strategies of football. Unique aspects of Ultimate attract a wide variety of players to the sport, such as an emphasis on fair play through self-officiating, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Under the umbrella of the Halifax Ultimate Recreational League (HURL), the Halifax Ultimate Juniors (HUJ) program helps students, high school teachers, and volunteer coaches learn about, and excel in, this great sport.
If you are interested in getting you or your school more involved in Ultimate, please contact us at juniors@halifaxultimate.ca. Our coaches would be happy to help get you started with some coaching clinics.
